There are a lot of buses running between Izmir and Selcuk. They are small buses/minibusses called Dolmus in Turkish. It takes almost 1 hour to İzmir Gaziemir, and another 30 minutes to reach from İzmir bus station that is in Bornova. Also, once you’re in Selcuk Bus station, you can take another minibus/dolmus to Ephesus Ancient City, which is just 10 minutes away by car.
